What To Expect

We’re a pretty diverse group and to really get to know what we’re like, you are probably going to have to come meet us for yourself. But for a quick overview of what we are trying to be and do, take a look…
We are authentic
We’ve all had about enough of trying to be what we’re not. We freely admit we are imperfect and we’re not afraid to talk about it to help each other get better. Whether in our sermons or community groups, we deal with real issues that people face every day with practical teaching from the Bible on how to live life better.
We value relationships
We think people are more important than programs or traditions and our relationships are more valuable to us than just about anything else. We are friends and we love spending time together and sharing life—not just Sundays. We welcome people from all walks of life and believe that we are better together.
We have fun
If you look at the life of Jesus, one of the first things He said to people was often, “Relax dude, don’t be afraid!” (That’s a paraphrase) and we try to adopt that attitude in our own lives. We like to have fun and try not to take ourselves too seriously. And we definitely don’t think church should be boring—in fact, we think it’s a good idea to laugh…a lot!
We want to make a difference
Jesus was pretty serious about our need to get involved and help others and we believe it is essential to be active in our community—serving, helping, and demonstrating Jesus’ love to everyone. We participate in a number of international missions and are always on the lookout for ways we can serve in our community, the country and the world.
